Raiding Schedule

Raids are now posted on the in-game calendar.  We are a casual raiding guild, and the typical raiding week consists of 2-3 nights a week.  Since you have the option of choosing your own rank in WICKED, the calendar becomes fuller as more people choose to become raid leaders!

Raiding Etiquette

1. Ventrilo is required for all members in the raid. You do not have to have a mic. You just need to be able to listen. When a raid leader is explaining a fight or pull, please keep the vent channel quiet so that everyone can hear.  Also, when looting bosses, please keep quiet so that loot gets distributed fairly.

2. The following mods are REQUIRED for all members in the raid (Links to these mods can be found in our Addons forum):

* Deadly Boss Mods

3. Damage Meter readings are not to be shared publicly during raids. If you wish to use them, please keep them to yourself or share them with those who wish to know readings in private. Remember that we are working as a team, not competing against one another. And there's really no reason to publicly embarrass those who are lowest on the dps/healing meters.

4. If you're not ready to be summoned 15 minutes prior to raid time, your spot may be given to someone else. It is, after all, rude and disrespectful to make your entire raid wait on you.

5. If you must go afk, please make sure your raid leader knows. Please try to keep this to a minimum. Again, it's rude and disrespectful to make your fellow raid members wait on you.

6. You must be properly geared, socketed, and enchanted to raid! If you are unsure whether or not you are raid-ready, visit http://be.imba.hu and query your character!

7. It has happened, time and time again, that we've had members transfer from raiding guilds that were further progressed than us. We realize that it can be difficult to learn a different strategy than you're used to... however, we ask that you give the raid leader a decent chance before suggesting how your other guild did it. If, after a few attempts (with no success), you wish to share... please ask the raid leader if he would like to hear a suggestion. Chances are, he/she will be open to other ideas... IF his/her idea doesn't work out. While we understand that no harm is meant, it can be VERY frustrating to have your raid "taken over" by other members of the raid.

8. Wiping on new bosses is (unfortunately) inevitable! If you start to get irritated by this, please let your raid leader know (in private) that you need a break... or that you would like to be replaced. There is no need to bring down the morale of the entire raid with negative comments that express how irritated you are. It's ok to leave the raid early if you're just not having fun anymore. We just ask that you do so in a tasteful manner.

Sistine's Enrollment Process
(Please note that this is Sistine's process for enrollment ONLY!  Other raid leaders may do things differently.  If you become a raid leader, you may do things how you wish.  But we urge you to PLEASE be fair and try to include as many different people as possible from week to week!)

For 10-mans:

About 15-30 minutes before the raid starts, the raid leader will invite those who are signed up and confirmed on the calendar.  If the raid is not yet full, the raid leader will ask in guild chat who would like to raid, starting with TANKS, then HEALERS, then DPS. Spots will be given on a first come, first serve basis. For example, the first 2 tanks, 3 healers, and 7 dps to speak up IN GUILD CHAT get to go.

If you have been confirmed, you will be expected to be available 15 minutes prior to raid time.  Otherwise your spot may be given to someone who is ready.

For 25-mans:

Enrollment for raids is simple. About 15-30 minutes before the raid is scheduled to begin, a Raid Leader will begin to spam guild chat to let everyone know the raid is starting. Spots are given to those who are signed up and confirmed on the calendar.  Extra spots will be given on a "first come, first serve" basis, taking class balance needed for that particular raid into consideration. Pretty much the same as 10-mans, only on a bigger scale.

If you have been confirmed, you will be expected to be available 15 minutes prior to raid time.  Otherwise your spot may be given to someone who is ready.

Bearcorrupt's Looting Procedures

Our looting procedures were established by Bearcorrupt with the coming of Wrath of the Lich King.  They've served us well, so we've continued using them.  Keep in mind, they are designed for our casual raiding style.  We have tried DKP in the past and it turned raiding into more of a job than anything. Therefore, we will not be going back to a DKP system.  If you're looking for a more hardcore raiding style, WICKED may not be the guild for you.

* When looting a boss, the Master Looter will call out, "[Name of Item] - FIRST ROLL!!!"  Everyone gets one First Roll.  If you win (and ONLY if you win) an item during First Roll, you will not be allowed to roll again until Main Spec or Off Spec is called.

* If no one wants to use their First Roll on the item, the Master Looter will call out, "MAIN SPEC ROLL!!!"  Everyone who can use the item for their main spec may roll, even if you've used your First Roll.

* If no one wants the item for their Main Spec, "OFF SPEC ROLL!!!" will be called.  Anyone may roll for their off spec, even if you've used your First Roll.

* If no one wants the item, it will be disenchanted and put into the guild bank!

* All Greens and unwanted blues will be disenchanted and put into the guild bank.
